At 57, Keo Won a Challenge and Transformed Herself

I was constantly failing to maintain a healthy lifestyle, nutrition plan or consistently challenging exercise routines for most of my adult life, until I found Fighterdiet.

I did not always look fit, I was obese three times before getting here. I have been a personal trainer and still couldn’t get me right.

It was devastating to my confidence and physique dreams. I needed structured, sensible, science-based nutrition and exercise help.

I found Pauline Nordin and her challenges in 2014. I signed up and then withdrew. I was afraid, again, of failing. After another year and a half of debating what to do (and gaining more and more weight!), I signed up for ‘Get Buff Get Lean Summer Shred’ Spring of 2016. This was my first challenge. I did well. I found support and success. I learned how to think and act to support my goals.

Signed up for a second challenge, Cuts and Gainz, immediately afterwards. I was happy, working hard, buoyed by the constant research based-science and information, advice, live video, q & a, you name it…..I had help 24/7 and there was no room for failure any more. The compassionate moderators and Pauline have helped shape my body and my thinking.

It was the mental training part that allowed me to win Cuts & Gainz Fall of 2016. I celebrated my win as a win for all women over 55 who so passionately want and need to get control of their bodies and their health!

I am always looking forward now. I signed up for a third and then a fourth challenge. Fighterdiet is a way of life so accessible and affordable I suggest it be basic educational training for fitness professionals. I want to coach and inform deaf women and I will teach and share what I’ve learned over my lifespan.

Most of what I have to teach is from my first year with Fighterdiet. I look forward to seeing a new generation of mature and wise women over 50, who, like myself, feel powerful and alive with strength and life force energy! I will be forever grateful to Pauline and her staff for the encouragement, compassion, education and support.

  • I look at these pictures and think there is hope for me at my age of turning 58 on Oct. 30th. I’ve also been a personal trainer, but look at me. Just like your story. I can never seem to get past that point of pushing to the stage you are. My friend Beverly has been following Pauline for several years and kept telling me about her. I signed up and didn’t tell her for awhile. Finally I did. Can I push myself past this mental block that I don’t know how to fix? I sure hope so. I’ve been blown away first that two of the coaches, You and Patty have reached out to me from the beginning, then Pauline started commenting on my posts when I doubted myself and still do with the meal plan. I was shocked that people so busy with all the others in this group would talk to me. I’m one of hundreds and probably thousands. Pauline…wow. Yall did, but then her. Its obvious of the passion.

Your story inspires me and I need to keep reading this over and over. Surely I have that drive in me. I want it. I’ve never gone that far. Could I? Maybe. I just have to get here somehow. I have just bought Body by Pauline and Fighterdiet Cookbook, plus three of the Vegetarian books, hoping to find a way to make myself like veggies. I think this will push me to areas I don’t know about, but only dreamed. I don’t know if I’ll get there, but I’m willing to try. I believe the help is here. My best friend is behind me, but bottom line I have to do the work. I’m not sure how yet, but somehow.

The time you backed out, why? What was it that clicked to push you to that point, to that next stage past just looking like all the other 57 year olds? I need to hear it.

    You are amazing.
