Why you have to believe in yourself when nobody else does!

I didn’t have a fit body when I started. I looked and was just normal. No super talent, no super genetics, no special traits.

I considered myself an ugly duckling but I was ok with it since I knew I’d evolve and prove them all wrong.

I was teased in the Swedish fitness community for never getting lean enough for my bodybuilding contests. I guess they forgot it’s a skill you don’t perfect in a snap of your fingers.

The gym people told me I should use anabolic steroids to get the right size and muscularity. I refused to listen, I wasn’t interested in shortcuts and also didn’t ever think it was necessary for what I had in mind. For my results I just needed time and patience. I was a mediocre young girl with lofty goals and great ambition, but my mom raised me to just do what I want and not question it. Said and done.

Moral of the story: if you have no support, if people laugh at your plans, if you feel you’re not adequate, just remember ME. If I could do it, you’ll probably do it much better!
